Three brothers died on the spot in a tragic road accident late Sunday night when their motorcycle was reportedly hit by an APSRTC bus near the Peddapalem flyover in Mulakalacheruvu mandal of Annamayya district.
The victims, identified as Venkatesh, Tarun, and Manoj — all in their 20s — were residents of Kootagullollapalli village. According to the Mulakalacheruvu police, the accident occurred while the siblings were returning home from Mulakalacheruvu. A speeding APSRTC bus is said to have rammed into their two-wheeler. A case has been registered, and the bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Madanapalle for post-mortem.
