India is for ‘unimpeded’ maritime commerce: Jaishankar to Rubio on West Asia crisis

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and EAM S. Jaishankar held high-level talks on Sunday (May 24).

After the meeting, which included deliberations on the West Asia conflict, Mr. Jaishankar said that India is for “unimpeded” maritime commerce.

“We discussed the situation in West Asia, Indian subcontinent and East Asia,” Mr. Jaishankar said.
