Toll on NICE Road hiked effective July 1

Toll on the NICE Road has been hiked with effect from July 1. A public notice issued by Nandi Economic Corridor Enterprises Ltd. showed that the toll on seven stretches across the corridor has shot up in the range of ₹3 – ₹5 per stretch. Tolls on some stretches have remained unchanged as well. 

Tolls on other access controlled corridors like the Electronics City Expressway have also been hiked with effect from July 1. 

Toll on Hosur Road to Bannerghatta Road stretch has increased from ₹60 to ₹65 for cars, ₹25 to ₹30 for two-wheelers, toll on Bannerghatta Road to Kanakapura Road has increased from ₹45 to ₹48 for cars and remained the same at ₹15 for two-wheelers. The increase in the toll for other stretches are also in a similar range for cars and two-wheelers. 

However, the increase in toll has been steep for buses from ₹170 to ₹195 for the Hosur Road to Bannerghatta Road stretch and ₹135 to ₹155 for the Bannerghatta Road to Kanakapura Road stretch, ₹180 to ₹205 for the longest Mysuru Road to Magadi Road stretch.
