At least 12 Koya tribal pockets have been cut off from their mainland both from the end of Chintoor and Bhadrachalam on the Andhra Pradesh-Chhattisgarh borders in Andhra Pradesh, with inflow of flood water touched to the first warning level at 43 feet recorded in Bhadrachalam in Telangana State.

By 8.15 a.m., the flood water inflow was above 9.30 lakh cusecs at Bhadrachalam.
