The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the opening of admissions for its Information Security programs at the Ranchi Regional Centre. The programs include M.Sc. in Information Security (MSCIS), PG Diploma in Information Security (PGDIS), and Advanced Certificate in Information Security (ACISE). Lateral entry and exit options are available in these programs.
The MSCIS program requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The program fee is ₹22,000 per year. The duration ranges from a minimum of two years to a maximum of four years. The PGDIS program also requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The fee is ₹10,800 per semester, with a duration ranging from one year to three years. The ACISE program is open to candidates with Class 10 or equivalent qualifications. The fee is ₹5,400. The program can be completed in six months, with a maximum duration of two years.
