Police rescue man who left home in distress

Buttaigudem police on Sunday rescued a man who ran away from home due to family problems, in Paidakula Mamidi village of Buttaigudem mandal in Eluru district.

Villagers alerted the police by calling ‘Dial 112’ and the Buttaigudem police reached the spot within 15 minutes and rescued the 30-year-old.

Police counselled the victim and handed him over to his family members. Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore appreciated the police who acted promptly.

Persons in distress or suffering with suicidal thoughts may ‘Dial 112’ for assistance.
