A new building of the Sub-Registrar Office at Ponnamaravathy in Pudukottai district was inaugurated by Minister for Labour Welfare and Skill Development S. Mohamed Farvas on Saturday.
The new building has been constructed at a cost of ₹1.75 crore. The office caters to 58 villages in Tirupathur, Ponnamaravathi and Singampunari taluks under the Karaikudi Registration District.
The new building includes better amenities for the public including visitors hall and toilets. A CCTV system has been installed in the new office building
Collector M. Aruna and other officials were present, according to an official release.
