The story so far: Fresh out of the Pixel 11 series launch, media outlets are reporting that Google wants to move their Pixel production away from China, mainly due to geopolitical tensions with the U.S.
If this happens, India or Vietnam would likely be Google’s destination for its Pixel manufacturing needs; India is already making phones for Apple while Vietnam offers more affordable labour. From where Google stands, Samsung is a success story to watch. The South Korean electronics giant has already completed 30 years of manufacturing in India.
