Samsung launches Galaxy Tab Active 5 Enterprise Edition with replaceable battery

Samsung on Monday (August 18, 2025) launched the new Galaxy Tab Active 5 Enterprise Edition in India. As the name suggests, the Tab Active 5 is an enterprise-ready tablet for businesses and professionals operating in high-intensity environments.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Enterprise Edition features an 8.0 inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also has an IP68-certified S Pen.
It runs on an octa-core processor with variable memory options of 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
The enterprise tablet comes with a replaceable battery and No-Battery Mode so that it can be used while connected to a power source.

The Enterprise Edition also includes a 36-month warranty (12-months on battery) and comes preloaded with Android 15, with OS upgrade support for 7 years (upto version 21).
Additionally, the tab offers a 12-month complimentary subscription to Knox Suite Enterprise Security Platform.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Enterprise Edition price starts at ₹49,999 with bookings opening on August 18.
